Suicide bomber in military uniform strikes US soldiers at Iraqi meeting

BAGHDAD - A suicide bomber wearing an Iraqi army uniform struck a U.S. military delegation visiting the mayor of violence-wracked Baqouba on Monday, injuring at least eight American soldiers and killing three Iraqi civilians.

The military calls it "collateral damage," but no matter what the military calls it the innocent victims of the Iraq and Afghanistan war are the children of these two countries caught in the middle of two conflicts that appear to have no end. Is it any wonder why the people of Iraq and Afghanistan want U.S. troops to leave their country? "The Surge" was a myth cooked up by the Bush White House and the Pentagon to make it appear like U.S. troops brought peace to Iraq. Ask yourself this. If "The Surge" was so successful how come we never read or saw video of how many Al Queda or insurgents U.S. troops killed or captured? The answer is there was nothing to report because U.S. troops were used like guards after the Sunni Awakening did all the dirty work of ridding the various Iraq provinces of the enemy. This is a very graphic video and watch with caution.
