33 KILLED IN SUICIDE BOMB AND GUN ATTACK IN IRAQ AS COUNTRY TEETERS ON BRINK OF CIVIL WAR AGAIN

33 people have been killed in Kirkuk, Iraq from a suicide bomb and gun attack and the country is once again teetering on the brink of a civil war.

Hopefully, President Obama will not follow in the footsteps of Bush/Cheney administration and feel it is up to the United States to bring peace to Iraq.

Sometimes I wonder if the "Arab Spring" is nothing more than an Islamic version of the Hundred Years War, Bill.

Kat: I was comparing the Iraq and Middle East situation to a friend last night as the modern version of the Crusades. The people in these Middle East countries have been fighting with each other for hundreds of years and no amount of U.S. intervention will ever put a stop to it. Bill
