U.S. GOVERNMENT HAS WASTED $60 BILLION ON AFGHANISTAN AND IRAQ

An investigative committee released a report this week estimating that the US Government has lost as much as $60 billion to waste, fraud and corruption in Iraq and Afghanistan over the past decade.

Dick Cheney's former company, Haliburton, was the biggest recipient of war contracts.

Gidday Bill how are you mate???I read this story and started glazing over when i read the sum of 60bill...honestly mate what do we say to that?its not for me to say where and how the US gov should spend the tax payers dollar.Im just saying the numbers are staggering...Great article Bill and thankyou for posting this.Its good to get a different perspective of things!!!

Hi Greg....It's totally ridiculous. There is so much infrastructure here in the USA that is need of repair and we don't have the money for it and all Congress does is battle over spending, but the Republicans never want to cut the costs on the war so we could rebuild the roads, bridges and schools that are falling apart. Sickening...Bill
