MSNBC's Rachel Maddow presented the first of her two-part series on the war in Afghanistan Tuesday night.
The second part will air on MSNBC on Wednesday night 9 PM, EST.
In this series of clips from the Rachel Maddow website on MSNBC, you get to see Maddow and Engel and other members of the MSNBC team embedded with the 82nd Airborne talking about the conditions and problems U.S. forces face in trying to convert Afghanistan into a functioning democracy.

Editor's note: What I got out of the Rachel Maddow show on Tuesday night is this is a daunting and almost impossible task for the U.S. military to try and convince the Afghan people they would be better off governing themselves than allowing the Taliban to control their destiny....Bill Corcoran, editor, CORKSPHERE, http://corksphere.blogspot.com
