For the past few weeks since Iraq held their election, we have been reporting that violence is on the increase in Iraq.
Yesterday we reported 25 people were killed when gunmen opened fire on Iraqi citizens. Three of the 25 killed were children.
On Sunday three car bomb blasts went off in Baghdad killing 35 and wounding an estimated 215 Iraqi citizens.
The mainstream media in the United States continues to ignore what is happening in Iraq and a careful examination of the Sunday morning talk shows on CBS, MSNBC, ABC, CNN and FOX News indicated not a single mention was made of the escalating violence in Iraq on any of the network news shows.
Below is the story from the MSNBC website on the most recent bombing in Baghdad.
