AFGHANISTAN: THE FATE OF THE WAR RESTS ON WHAT HAPPENS IN KANDAHAR


Time Magazine has posted a story on what lies ahead for U.S. and NATO forces as they push into the Taliban stronghold of Kandahar, Afghanistan.
The U.S. has been successful in building schools, but there aren't any teachers to teach in the schools
The Afghan Army is still a work in progress and spend the better part of their time protecting Afghan citizens than fighting the Taliban.
The mission and the fate of Afghanistan could very well rest on what happens over the next few weeks or months as U.S. and NATO forces launch an all out effort to capture Kandahar.

Thanks for your comment. Perhaps I posted it because I'm a veteran and I know what goes on in war and it it not what the media feeds the people.
