The doctor in charge of this Air Medevac Team makes the split decision to remove the wounded Afghan combatant from the battlefield near Kandahar and fly him to the nearest U.S. hospital.
In this video you see the Air Medevac Team working feverishly on the wounded Afghan man, who has shrapnel in his eyes and has lost one leg, in an attempt to stabilize him before reaching the U.S. field hospital.
