WITH THE ADDITION OF 35,000 MORE TROOPS, AFGHANISTAN WILL BE OBAMA'S WAR NOW

There has been a lot of finger-pointing including former VP Dick Cheney, a five time draft dodger, saying President Obama has been "dithering" about sending troops to Afghanistan, but in this video you see Rhamn Emmanuel, White House Chief of Staff, explain why it has taken so long for Obama to make up his mind on what to do about Afghanistan.

Our opinion is that Afghanistan is going to be Obama's Vietnam just like Vietnam saddled President Johnson.

The 35,000 new troops that are expected to be announced by Obama on a nation-wide press conference Tuesday night will cement forever that Afghanistan will go down in the history books as Obama's war.

Other than fighting skirmishes from forward operating bases in the rugged mountains of Afghanistan, nobody has come up with a clear idea of why we are even in Afghanistan and what our military is expected to accomplish.

Hopefully President Obama will present a clearer picture to the American public of the mission in Afghanistan when he talks to the nation Tuesday night.

What we find intriguing is how the Republicans are all for expanding the war in Afghanistan, but when you ask a Republican if their son or daughter is going to enlist in the military they look at you like you have lost your mind.

It still boils down to this. Less than one percent of Americans have a family member in the United States military.
