COLD WAR SERVICE MEDAL BILLS


Subject: Cold War Service Medal

Bills have been introduced in both the U.S. Senate and House for a COLD WAR SERVICE MEDAL. H.R.4051 and S.2743 (Cold War Service Medal of 2009).

The Cold War Service Medal is for those who served under honorable conditions from September 2, 1945, and ending on December 26, 1991

Please write or call your Senators and Congressman and ask them to support these bills.

Thank you so much for mentioning these bills, it will be a great help.

I would like to mention that there are to other bills of interest to veterans(especially Cold War Veterans)
H.CON.RES 207 Regarding the victory of the United States in the Cold War
H.RES.900 Cold War Veterans Recognition Day, this would make May 1 a national day of recognition for Cold War Veterans.
It would be similar to the Cold War Victory Day that several states have passed in the last few years.

So please everyone contact your Senators and Representatives ask them to become cosponsors to these bills.
