General Stanley McChrystal, the new US commander in Afghanistan, has told his troops that their success will be measured in terms of Afghan lives saved, as opposed to Taliban fighters killed. As the country prepared for the August elections, Al Jazeera's Clayton Swisher spent two weeks embedded with the US army's Charlie Company 1-32 in Kunar province.
