The US says the Taliban poses one of the biggest threats there is to world security. Others welcome their version of law and order, which they say brings peace to the areas they control. There have been deals done in Pakistan recently to give the Taliban power in exchange for calm. That and the groups' resurgence in Afghanistan have brought the group back into the spotlight. Al Jazeera's Nick Clark reports from the heartland of the group, in southern Afghanistan.
