FIRE IN THE HOLE! U.S. MARINE "SAPPERS" TAKE OUT TALIBAN LAND MINES AND IEDS (GREAT ACTION VIDEO)

What is a "Sapper?" I was a "Sapper" in the United States Army Combat Engineers during the Korean War and we are the soldiers who many times move out in front of the infantry to take out enemy land mines, booby traps, and anything that could blow up causing injury or death to our troops. The "Sappers" have a motto: "Let Us Try." In this video you see a team of "Sappers" from the United States Marine Corps Combat Engineers doing what they are trained to do in Afghanistan. It is dangerous work, but somebody has to do it.
