The situation in Afghanistan continues to deteriorate. The Taliban are surging and at this FOB Wardak in Afghanistan U.S. troops are digging in for what is expected to be the BIG SPRING TALIBAN offensive as soon as the snow melts. The days and weeks ahead are going to be a nightmare for U.S. troops in Afghanistan who still have not been given a clearly defined mission.
