CAPTURED FOOTAGE OF WHO U.S. FORCES ARE FIGHTING IN AFGHANISTAN (MUST SEE VIDEO)

The US is fighting against many fragmented groups along Afghanistan's north-eastern border. Many of them fight under the Taliban leadership, but are not themselves Taliban.

This video was captured or turned over to Al Jazeera and shows the type of fighters the U.S. forces are fighting in Afghanistan.

President Barack Obama recently ordered 17,000 more U.S. troops into Afghanistan as well as 3,000 members of the 10th Mountain Division.

It is still to be determined what the United States mission is in Afghanistan.
