My son is there w/ the 10th Mtn Division. This was hard to watch, but I had to. Thank you for all that you do to keep Americans informed about what really happens over there.

Dear K. McCallum: I want you to know that there are a lot of people in this country following what is going on in Afghanistan. You would NEVER know it to watch the current media, but realize these are the very SAME people who didn't have a word to say while this country suffered. Blogs like this are a blessing for folks like you and folks like me, who, while I may not have a child fighting this war, want our troops to be supported. All I hear is second guessing. No one wants war, but I thank you and your son for his service. Jeanne

Jeanne: That was very nice of you to do. I'm sure K. McCallum will appreciate your sentiments as I do. You are truly a loyal friend and supporter of our troops.

Mr. Corcoran,
I thank you for your support of ours troops. My son is also with the 10th Mtn Div and because of your site, I have seen footage of my son over there. Most especially, thank you for that. I also found it hard to watch, and just as K McCallum felt he had to, I did as well. I accidentally found the footage of my son, but once I found it, I felt compelled to watch it. I find myself watching it repeatedly. I know that, to date, he is safe and alive, but, as an Army brat and a 20+ yr Navy wife, I know that can change at any time. I do wish that the American media would give more support to "The Forgotten War", and provide more information about it. I appreciate you for giving your time and energies to those of us who need the information on a daily basis. Thank you and consider yourself hugged. :) J Spry

Dear J. Spry: Thanks so much for your comment, and also thanks for to you and your son for your service to our country. I know how hard it must be to watch a video like the one I posted, but I also feel gratified that I was able to bring to you some footage of your son in Afghanistan. My prayers will continue to go out to your son and to you, too.
