That, Cork is why we won't win. But I still say you've gotta be careful, as you're still giving out mixed messages. A lot of the blurbs that go with the clips you're showing are still a tad too gung-ho. An 18-year old kid could happen by your blog and mistake it for a pro-war blog, AND MOST 18 YEAR OLDS DON'T THINK. That's why they can get molded in the wrong way, and why the military salivates for them. You can talk about kicking insurgent ass, etc, etc, but it doesn't take away the fact that we are the occupiers, SHOULDN'T BE THERE, and can't win if the people there hate us. The idea is to, yes, show what is not being shown on the mainstream media, but ALSO to show that we need to stop trying to be the world police.
And yes, the women depicted in the clip are also getting or are brainwashed, but they at least aren't the invaders. IF WE got invaded, what would WE do?
Anonymous: I hear what you're saying. I realize the videos could "glamorize" the war for a young person, but on the other hand what I have been trying to do is show people what is happening in Iraq and Afghanistan because the media doesn't. It's a fine line. I'll agree to that.
As for the women in the video, they are dedicated to killing Americans. Here in America nobody cares enough to even pick up a broom.
