While it does seem odd that they are training in combat situations, keep in mind Combat Medics are very much in harms way and need the tactical skills need to protect themselves and those around them. That looks to me to a part of their standard training. I did similar training when I went through as a Tank Mechanic. Even though Mechanics are not suppose to leave the wire, guess what? We leave it all the time. As far as the video goes, what a terrible song to cut it to.

Casey: Thanks for your comment and more importantly thanks for your service to our country. I know what you mean about training. I was trained as a Combat Engineer in the Army and ended up as a G2 with my rank frozen at E-4 during the Korean War.
