Cork, don't we ever learn??? The US won't win in Afghanistan anymore than Russia (it was Russia's Vietnam) or England did. Hell, Genghis Khan, I believe, had sense enough to stay out of Afghanistan. I think it was treasonous that the CIA helped the Muslim crew fuck up a superpower. Look where it got us!
We NEVER learn from history. What are we doing in Afghanistan. If Osama bin Laden is even alive, I have a hunch he has fled to Pakistan. This war, like you said, will go on forever and eventually we will have to pullout like Russia and England did.

even if bin'ey is dead or was never born, america shoud be in afghanistan taking out the taliban every evil people,,,..
just like iraq, they should of invaded iraq even if they did not have nuclear bombs, he was beuond evil but realy a bich,,..
there is only one thing wrong, why havent they invaded zimbabbew and other countrys like that, that makes iraq & afghaistan wrong.
