CNN REPORTS: IRAQ BOMBING KILLS 21: TWO MARINES DIE

The Olympics and the John Edwards' affair have not stopped the violence in Iraq as another attack took place on Friday killing 21.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- A bombing at a crowded outdoor market in northern Iraq on Friday killed 21 people and wounded 50 others, according to police.

Nineveh provincial police said the parked car bomb went off in Tal Afar, west of Mosul. There has been violence in Tal Afar throughout the Iraq war, and U.S. and Iraqi troops in Nineveh province have been taking on al Qaeda in Iraq there.

Also Friday, the U.S. military announced that two Marines died in a noncombat-related incident near Karma on Thursday in Anbar province.

Nine American troops have died in Iraq so far this month -- two in combat and the others in vehicle accidents and other noncombat incidents.

What are these "non-combat" deaths? Murders, suicides or fraggings. Or a combination of the 3?

Anonymous: It could be all of them, but the main point is the DoD lies to the American public about deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan.
