Richard Engle of NBC news reports on the possibility how many of the troops now in Iraq could end up being deployed to Afghanistan because Adm. Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, claims the United State doesn't have any reserves to send to Afghanistan.
Just imagine if McCain gets in and decides to attack Iran? Where in the world are we going to get the ground troops for a war with Iran when we don't even have enough troops to bolster the growing problem with the Taliban in Afghanistan?

No, Cork-- A draft and endless war in Asia (Major or Minor) would be a disaster for the good ol' USA!! Those fools in Washington are drooling for a draft (official, that is, not economic or back-door). More wars of empire would only send more folks to the meat-grinder, make us EVEN MORE hated globally. We'll run out of money, and to top it off things are eroding right here at home. "VICTORY" would be (and is) HOLLOW!! We are going the same route as the late Roman Empire, and at home going the way as Nazi Germany. Hope folks wake up. Troops need to come home, not participating in global, "pre-emptive" wars. Today, it's either nukes or long-term genocidal clusterfvcks, neither of which I can see is a good option. True, a draft would maybe wake America up, but when you have a bunch of madmen (and-women) in power, a draft only provides endless cannon fodder. No amount of parades, flags or speeches will compensate for all the death or physical and mental destruction to those forced to fight.
I'm not for a draft, but I'm also not for sending the same troops to Iraq and Afghanistan for three or four tours.
That, Cork, is why I say "troops home!!!" Let the chips fall where they may.

I subscribe to that idea.

We'll have to Cork, just for survival's sake. SMEDLEY BUTLER HAD THE RIGHT IDEA.
5 Reasons to Try Electric RC helicopters
RC helicopters capture people's interest since their very first inception. They stand as one of the most fascinating field of the RC hobby world. Very few can resist its charm. Nevertheless, not too long ago they also carried an extremely heavy price tag and required more maintenance than a ten-years-old car. To make matters worse, flying one required countless hours of practice and tremendous amount of patience. Here's the secondDS spin-off of Sony's great Ratchet & Clank franchise, which the High Impact games studio has successfully shrunk to fit a 4.3-inch screen. Featuring an unbreakable polycarbonate lens, the flashlight Jr. Luxeon Reach is made of anodized machined aircraft aluminum and includes a push-button tail cap for steady on and momentary on/off operation. Wolf-Eyes FlashlightThe flexible cable extension is protected by a durable PVC coating
