This country began as an insurgency. Every time you celebrate July 4th, you're celebrating an insurgency. A lot of the US patriots did the same thing that insurgents in all lands do. HOW SOON WE FORGET!
You make a good point, but my point is to show the readers of my blog there is STILL a war going on and our troops are still in tough combat situations.
