VIDEO WILL BREAK YOUR HEART: ZAHRA: SMALL AFGHAN ORPHAN GIRL, LOST ALL OF HER FAMILY IN U.S. AIR STRIKE (SEE VIDEO)

The Pentagon has an expression for it: They call it "Collateral Damage." This is the Department of Defense's way of saying we screwed up and bombed the wrong target and killed a lot of innocent people. Zahra, shown in this video, is a victim of "Collateral Damage" in Afghanistan. All of her family were killed when a U.S. air strike hit their home instead of a suspected hiding place for a member of the Taliban. Today, Zahra (nobody knows her age) says she misses her father and she has only her grandmother to take care of her. Meanwhile, President Obama and U.S. forces have launched a major offensive in Afghanistan and there are bound to be more instances of "Collateral Damage." The question is why? Why is the United States doing this? What is the mission? What is the exit strategy? Thousands and thousands of people are going to die (and, yes, many of them will be American troops) before this all comes to some kind of an end. It is all so senseless. The Afghan people DON'T want the U.S. troops in their country. The original plan over eight years ago was to find Usama bin Laden, but everyone agrees he is now hiding out in Pakistan or perhaps even has died. So why do we continue this war? Stop the misery. Stop creating more Zahra's.
