WHAT A CROCK OF S..T THIS IS. SINCE WHEN DOES U.S. TAKE ORDERS FROM AFGHANISTAN?

This is totally unreal and unheard of any war the United States has ever been involved in.  Afghanistan has ordered U.S. troops out of a province in Afghanistan.   We should tell Afghanistan to go to hell and pull all our troops out of the country.

ATTN: ALL GUN LOVERS

Have I got a deal for all gun lovers.

All you have to do is enlist in the United States Army and Uncle Sam will provide you with a gun, ammo and it is all free.

But that isn't all.

If you are lucky enough, Uncle Sam will provide you with someone to kill and the best part is you won't be charged with murder, and not only that but you will be paid to kill someone with taxpayer dollars.

Other benefits include three hots and a cot and free health insurance in case you are shot before you shoot the "bad guy."

There is also free food prepared by the United States Army cooks, or you will be given MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) which are mouth-watering.

During your basic training, the Army cooks will prepare SOS (S..t on a Shingle) a delicious combination of creamed chipped beef served on toast which you can smell at least a mile away.

But the best part by far is there are no concealed weapons laws and you get to carry your gun (rifle) everywhere you go.

For the life of me, I can't understand why gun lovers don't take advantage of this opportunity courtesy of Uncle Sam.

And one last thing.

If you go on a killing spree, you won't be called a serial killer, but instead you might be lucky enough to be awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.

I had all these wonderful benefits as you can see by the picture below and I'm not even a gun lover.

A GRUDGE TOO FAR

Republican Senator John McCain joined his buddy Republican Sen. Lindsay Graham and other Republican Senators in blocking the confirmation of former Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense all because Hagel spoke out seven years ago against the Iraq war and was opposed to "the surge."

The filibuster by Republicans puts on hold Hagel's appointment as Secretary of Defense for at least ten days.

Hagel was right seven years ago when he said the cost in blood and treasure was not worth going to war with Iraq that didn't have any weapons of mass destruction and the capability of making a nuclear bomb.

Hagel also was opposed to highly touted "surge" and again he was right because it was the tribal members of the Sunni element in Iraq who drove Al Qaeda out of several provinces in Iraq while U.S. troops were used as backup.

The Iraq war, which was sold to America and Congress by Vice President Dick Cheney, eventually cost the lives of over 4,700 young Americans as well as over 70,000 American troops seriously wounded, including some with wounds that will leave them disabled for the rest of their lives.

It is also estimated that upwards of one million Iraqi citizens were killed during the course of the Iraq war.

And to add insult to injury, the Bush administration never added the cost of the Iraq war, estimated to be nine billion dollars a month, to the deficit and was only discovered when the Obama administration moved into the White House.

There are still 66,000 troops in Afghanistan and "the grudge" by McCain, Graham and other Republicans leaves them high and dry without Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense over what amounts to a petty and childish grievance.

The Huffington Post reported the following on Saturday:

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Thursday that Republican opposition to defense secretary nominee Chuck Hagel can be traced back to the former Republican senator's attacks on George W. Bush over the Iraq War.

McCain, who voted to delay a final vote on Hagel's confirmation, told Fox News' Neil Cavuto that Hagel's old colleagues haven't forgotten his criticism of former President Bush.

"To be honest with you, Neil, it goes back to-- there's a lot of ill will towards Senator Hagel because when he was a Republican, he attacked President Bush mercilessly, at one point said he was the worst president since Herbert Hoover, said the surge was the worst blunder since the Vietnam War, which is nonsense, and was anti his own party and people," McCain said.

"People don't forget that," McCain continued. "You can disagree, but if you're disagreeable, people don't forget that."

McCain also cited concerns with Hagel's experience as well as his "troubling" answers on Iran.

The Arizona senator is one of 40 Republicans who voted against invoking cloture and ending the GOP filibuster on Hagel's nomination. Despite the hold up, Hagel appears likely to be confirmed once Congress returns from a 10-day recess.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said Thursday that the Republicans' filibuster was "really unfortunate."

"This isn't high school getting ready for a football game," Reid said. "We're trying to confirm somebody to run the defense of our country."

REPUBLICAN SENATORS STRAND 66,000 U.S. TROOPS IN AFGHANISTAN

Senate Republicans voted to strand 66,000 U.S. troops in Afghanistan without a Secretary of Defense when they decided to filibuster the nomination of former Republican Senator Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense.

Republican Senators John McCain and Lindsay Graham led the move to block the nomination of Hagel with an almost unprecedented filibuster for 10 days.

McCain and Graham are still pissed at Hagel because he had the balls to say the Iraq War was wrong.

McCain and Graham are also irked because the feel they haven't been given an answer on why the Benghazi, Libya "listening post" was left without adequate security and the U.S. Ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens, and three other Americans were killed in an attack on the "listening post" on September 11, 2012.

Both McCain and Graham don't mention that it was the Republicans in the House of Representatives who voted against further security funding for U.S. embassies around the world.

THE REAL TRUTH ABOUT MSNBC "MORNING JOE" CO-HOST JOE SCARBOROUGH

You have no idea: Scarborough's most famous case was representing Michael F. Griffin, the accused killer of abortion doctor David Gunn, in early to mid 1993 >>>>>>>>> Just the facts: Scarborough got a divorce. Then he suddenly resigned from Congress, just six months after re-election. (Invoked old fallback excuse of wanting to “spend more time” with children.) Then he suddenly resigned as publisher of the Independent Florida Sun. Then, just as suddenly, Lori Klausutis, 28-year-old staffer to Scarborough, was found dead in Scarborough’s district office in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Date was July 20, 2001. Cause of death: Blow to the head. Conclusion: Heart condition caused her to collapse, fall, hit head on a desk, and die. Story barely a blip on the radar. Lots of people left with lots of questions. There was a great deal of ambiguity over whether Lori had suffered past medical problems. Scarborough’s press secretary, Miguel Serrano, made mention of health problems in Lori’s past, but could not be more specific. In response, Fort Walton Beach Police Chief Steve Hogue is quoted as saying “That’s part of our investigation, checking into her medical history.” Associate Medical Examiner Dr. Michael Berkland said “She had a past medical history that was significant, but it remains to be seen whether that played a role in her death”. Soon after a member of the immediate family rejected out of hand that Lori had any significant medical problems. She was, in fact, quite an athlete, having recently run an 8K with a very respectable time and she belonged to the Northwest Florida Track Club.

HOW OBAMA SHOULD HANDLE SPENDING CUTS

President Obama should go through all the spending Republicans in the House and Senate approved for their districts or state and say he will release the names of every Republican who loaded up a bill with pork barrel projects for his district or state.

Obama should spell out what spending the Republicans slipped through on the backs of other legislation for their districts or states.

Republicans are screaming their heads off wanting President Obama to make cuts or revamp Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.

Politics isn't bean ball and President Obama has to get tough with Republicans and let them know he will "out" every Republican who padded legislation with pork barrel projects that make them look good to their constituency.

There are two ways to skin a cat, as the old bromide goes, and Obama can take it a step further by pointing out how lobbyists padded the coffers of certain Republican Congressman and Senators so they pushed through spending for their districts or state.

Republicans not only want to shave Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, but they are furious about any spending cuts to the Department of Defense which everyone knows is a bloated program loaded with wasteful spending.

Harry S. Truman wouldn't have allowed Republicans to push him around like they have been doing to President Obama.

He would have done what I'm suggesting and let the Republicans scream bloody murder.

REPUBLICANS, FOX NEWS AND JOE SCARBOROUGH DON'T HAVE A CLUE

Republicans, Fox News and MSNBC's Joe Scarborough could not be more patently wrong by saying the Obama approved U.S. Drone attacks that targeted some Americans in Afghanistan and Pakistan who are giving aide and comfort to the enemy is worse than the waterboarding that the Bush/Cheney administration approved of during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

To begin with waterboarding (enhanced interrogation techniques) and Drone attacks are a non-sequitur. They aren't even in the same ballpark.

It is a well known fact that waterboarding never produced an ounce of credible intelligence, but you would never know that by listening to Republicans, Fox News and Joe Scarborough.

In fact, one of the detainees housed at Gitmo was waterboarded over 180 times and he never gave his interrogators anything of value they could use.

Today, John Brennan will face a battery of attacks from Republicans in a Senate confirmation hearing for his appointment by Obama to head up the CIA. Brennan has been a valuable member of the intelligence community for over 25 years.

The lies by the Repbublicans on the confirmation hearings committee wlll be flying fast and furious, but all Brennan would have to do is remind the Republicans that Drone attacks have prevented hundreds if not thousands of U.S. troops from being killed in Afghanistan.

Brennan should also remind the Republicans that Vice President Dick Cheney pulled out all the stops and lied about Saddam Hussein having Weapons of Mass destruction and a nuclear capability.

Cheney's lies cost 4,700 American lives in Iraq and another 70,000 troops severely wounded. Also, it is estimated over one million Iraqi citizens were killed during the course of the four year Iraq war.

The Republicans, Fox News and Joe Scarborough have accused President Obama of keeping secret the operation of our un-manned Drones in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Obama has made available to the Senate committee holding hearings today a complete report on our Drone operation and why some Americans were targeted because they were working with the enemy.

FOX NEWS ACCUSES HILLARY CLINTON OF HAVING A FACE LIFT

Fox News' Steve Doocy, who is one of the hosts of "Fox and Friends," accused Hillary Clinton of having a face lift.  Click on the link below to see how other Fox News anti-American blowhards blasted Hillary Clinton and how they want to make the attack on the Benghazi, Libya "listening post" (not the embassy or even a consulate) into a major story, but yet Fox News never said a thing when Vice President Dick Cheney lied about WMDs and nukes in Iraq and led the charge to go to war with Iraq which eventually cost 4,700 American lives and 70,000 Americans seriously wounded.  Fox News is sinking in the ratings and hopefully they will soon be just a distant memory because they have done more to divide this country than anything or anyone in the history of the United States.  And if you can't see that, you are dumber than a box of rocks.
