Loyal Dog didn't leave fallen Navy Seal
Jon Tumilson, a Navy SEAL, was one of 30 Americans killed in Afghanistan on Aug. 6 when a rocket-propelled grenade took out a U.S. Chinook helicopter.
During funeral, his loyal dog Hawkeye lays down brokenhearted near his casket.
When Tumilson's friend Scott Nichols walked to the front of the room to speak, Hawkeye followed, Today.com reports. "As Nichols prepared to memorialize his friend, Hawkeye dutifully laid down near the casket,"

WE SHOULD RE-INSTATE THE MILITARY DRAFT IF WE ARE GOING TO KEEP GETTING INTO ENDLESS WARS
Less than one percent of the American population is now serving in any branch of the United States military.
That is not right and it is not fair.
If we are going to continue to get into wars around the world, we are going to have to re-instate the military draft.

For four years, thousands of British servicemen fought with the Taliban for the district of Sangin - the most violent part of Afghanistan. When they withdrew in 2010, control was handed over to American Marines. The Americans decided to abandon a lot of this hard-won land and now have to fight for it all over again.

There is a disturbing report out of Afghanistan that many of the Afghan soldiers who fight alongside of American troops are "stoned" most of the time.
Reports say some of the Afghan soldiers have been known to fire theeir weapons indiscriminately without regard for the safety of the American troops in the same sector.
The Afghan National Army suffers heavily from desertions and because most of them are illiterate it has become very hard to train them in the use of weapons.

LATEST INFO ON CHOPPER CRASH: NAVY SEALS AND SPEC OPS TROOPS WERE ON A RESCUE MISSION
New details are emerging on what happened when a U.S. Chinook helicopter was shot down by a Taliban RPG in Afghanistan killing all 30 on board.
The Chinook was on a rescue mission to save U.S. Army Rangers pinned down by the Taliban.
Most of those killed on the helicoper were Navy Seals from the same Navy Seals Team Six unit that killed Osama Bin Laden, but not part of that strike force.
