WHY IS PRESIDENT OBAMA THINKING ABOUT SENDING MORE TROOPS TO AFGHANISTAN? (WATCH VIDEOS)

These videos give you an idea of what it is like on the ground in Afghanistan. President Obama is considering sending at least 40,000 more troops into Afghanistan. Nobody has yet defined the mission or an exit strategy. Afghanistan is twice the size of Iraq and it would take forever to bring peace to the country. The Afghan government is in shambles and can't even control Kabul let alone all of Afghanistan. Al Queda no longer operates out of Afghanistan and the Taliban are a series of splinter groups with no single person in charge of their operations.

In short, Afghanistan is a mess and will only get worse with more US troops sent to the region.

The Republicans and Conservatives on TV and radio want Americans to forget it was the Bush administration who started the war in Iraq that so far has cost nearly 4,500 American lives and over 35,000 wounded.

The same thing could happen in Afghanistan if President Obama goes ahead with the military wishes for more troops.

HOOAH!!!! APACHE HELICOPTERS DESTROY TALIBAN POSITIONS IN AFGHANISTAN

Watch video of Apache helicopters destroying enemy fighting positions above the village of Donga, Afghanistan. The positions were discovered a day earlier during an ambush of a patrol conducting a key leader engagement. With help from a forward observer, the helicopters identified the targets, ensuring no civilians were present and then destroyed the positions using their 30 mm cannon and rockets. Produced by Sgt. This song is not meant to make a political statement of any kind. It's simply about a family that is missing a brother. The young man who joined the army did so of his own free will. He was 20 years old and his parents played no part in his decision to serve his country.

They are proud to have such a brave son. I am only the best friend (for 34 years) of the mother, Cindy. It is my honor to post this video on YouTube.

All of the wonderful messages that I have received are being forwarded to Heather and her mother.Heather loves to sing. Since she was small she has always tried to get to the microphone first at church so she could sing.

She always loved karaoke and would beg for the mic. She still loves singing more than just about anything. Heather loves her brother and misses him. She has many memories of him. He comes home every chance he gets and will probably get to come home for a short time in February or March.

Before I truned on the camera Heather was really acting silly and laughing. What many of you have said looks like crying at the first is just Heather rubbing her eyes like any 6 year old might do.
