Less than one percent of the American population is now serving in any branch of the United States military.
That is not right and it is not fair.
If we are going to continue to get into wars around the world, we are going to have to re-instate the military draft.

The only good thing that would come out of a draft would be the protests and riots that would ensue as your average person has no intention fighting a war thousands of miles away so that the war machine can profit.

Maybe that is what it is going to take to wake up these politicians who love to send people to war as long as it is not any of their own family.
