It has been eight years since President Bush sent US forces into Afghanistan in hopes of catching Usama bin Laden. But instead bin Laden escaped and assumed to be hiding out in Pakistan.
This series of 33 videos tell the story of the war in Afghanistan. There are clips of US troops fighting the Taliban and NATO forces.
As soon as one video ends, the video moves to the next video. Sometimes there is a short commercial before the video starts, but be patient and you will learn a lot about the war in Afghanistan.
NOTE: Some of the videos require you click on the diamond-shaped arrow on the left-hand side of the video to activate it.
President Obama is going to have to make a decision on whether to send more troops into Afghanistan in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully, he has seen videos like these because they do not paint a pretty picture of Afghanistan and what lies ahead for our troops.
