The Marines in this video just saw one of their own buddies shot by an insurgent so they not only killed the Iraqi insurgent, but they shot him again for good measure. Very graphic video.

Cork, when you invade another man (or woman's, for that matter)'s turf, you can't expect to be greeted with French kisses. It's time to phase down the empire and bring the troops home.
Anonymous: Thanks for writing. I agree totally with you, but did you read another post on my blog where Defense Sec. Gates says Afghanistan is going to be our biggest military challenge. Also, the military commanders in Iraq feel they have to be there another five years or more. Obama is going to have a tough time pulling troops out of both countries even though it should be done.
