CRainqueen sent me this touching video of a meeting between a sailor who had been deployed to Iraq when he returned and walked into his son's classroom.
The video is a touching reminder of what so many young men and women are giving to their country.

I have been recieving tons of messages asking me about the song in the background. So here you go: The song is from the soundtrack to American Beauty written by Thomas Newman and naturally it's called American Beauty. There is a little bit mixed up version of the same song on the soundtrack called Any Other Name. Hope that helps. To those burdened with the decision of deploying troops to foreign countries, I would ask each of you to take some time and view the videos of children and spouses. It's by doing that, you get the true sense of just what is being put on the line. That decision should NEVER be made lightly. Who could watch this and not shed a tear? J
J. Thanks for your comment. It does bring tears to your eyes. IMO we have to get out of both Iraq and Afghanistan NOW. The Russians spent 10 years in Afghanistan and never could defeat them.
