After watching this VIDEO, I wonder how anyone could "condemn" our troops in IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN, but unfortunately there are some people who live in some "dream world" and think the "brave young men and women" in the U.S. military in IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN should just drop their weapons and walk away from the conflicts in a mass protest.
These people are few and far between, but this blogger has recently been taking "hits" from individuals who detest the "brave young men and women" in the military.
They are people who never served a day in the military service of the United States of America and they live in a superficial world where they think the United States is an "aggressor" nation and anyone who enlists in the military should be "condemned."
As it says in this video, they are people who are sitting behind their computers sipping coffee and making ridiculous statements about our troops deployed to IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN.
In short, they are pie-in-the-sky individuals who have never and will never have to face what these "brave young men and women" see in this VIDEO on a daily basis.
GOD HELP THEM, AND GOD BLESS THE MEN AND WOMEN OF THE UNITED STATES MILITARY.

No one wants a loved one to be killed in a war. I would ask each and every one to do their best to bring these wars to an end. I thank our brave troops for their service to their country. This service is not by choice, they join the service for many reasons, but no one wants to die in a war, in a foreign land. This is why we must have honorable leaders, so that no one will have to fight and die. I honor each of you and pray for you too. I will personally do whatever I can. antgne
Antgne: Thanks for your comment. We all want only the best for our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan whatever our political views may be. Bill
I don't know, Cork. Are they condemning the TROOPS or the scumbags (like Kissinger, Perle, Wolfowitz, Cheney, Rove, Eric Prince, the ADMIRALS AND GENERALS IN BED WITH THEM and the rest of the idiots who foment these wars)? We HAVE become the Redcoats, and these wars are about control of oil and resources, not at all much about our freedom, like Faux News would have you believe; THE NEO-CONS HERE HAVE DONE A GOOD JOB TOWARD SHREDDING THE US CONSTITUTION and our freedoms. If we were all about freedom, why did we (the US Power elite, not so much the PEOPLE) shore up the Mad Dutchmen who, for a hell of a long time, kept Apartheid going, in South Africa? Isn't a war for empire (which we ARE-- albeit a "Ward Cleaver"-type empire, let's face it!) basicly aggresive? It seems that every 20-40 years the gov't has to cull the kid population with a needless war, usually as a result of our meddling with and making behind-the-scenes deals with 3rd world despots who, at one minute, are our "allies" (eg-Rumsfeld and Saddam taking buddy pictures and then a few years later, it's "String him up, boys!" OR something like Charlie Wilson's War {which in my opinion was TREASONOUS}and next minute, they're the boogiemen); all you need are a culture of violence (eg John Wayne movies, Rambo-type video games, and a general "dumbing down" of the people, spin doctors who sell the war to the gullible, telling the kids that they're fighting for "freedom", set up an economic and a back-door draft (or even an official one, as in Korea and Vietnam), use the politics of fear and BOOM-endless war and tremendous profits for the military-industrial complex (which I must remind us about Eisenhower' warning). As these no-win genocides go on and on and on, you will see MORE of the negative fallout, such as GI Resistance (ever read David Cortright's SOLDIERS IN REVOLT?)more soldier and veteran suicides, drug addiction (legal AND ILLEGAL) in the ranks, racial problems (let's face it--all these wars are racist), and more. So I offer to you again--are the commente(o)rs condemning the TROOPS or the scumbags who MISUSE them? I, for one, condemn the MISUSERS.
And Cork, I believe I forgot to include Cheney.
Anymous. Thanks for your comment. Here is what you asked: So I offer to you again--are the commente(o)rs condemning the TROOPS or the scumbags who MISUSE them? I, for one, condemn the MISUSERS.
The person(s) condemn the MISUSERS, but they slide over and "condemn" (their word) our troops who are only following orders.
I believe all of us can agree the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are illegal, but I can't for the life of me see how anyone can "condemn" the troops engaged in these wars.
When you are in the military you do what they tell you to do or you might up in a Courts Martial trial.
I can understand blaming the "misusers," but I will never understand how anyone can blame ("condemn") the troops for simply following orders.
