FURTHER UPDATE ON FEMALE SOLDIER WHO COMMITTED SUICIDE FOR NOT PARTICIPATING IN TORTURE OF IRAQI PRISONERS

Allysa Peterson was a beautiful 27-year old soldier assigned to an Iraqi prison where torture techniques were being used on Iraqi prisoners. Allysa had already seen what the Bush/Cheney "regime" wanted done to Iraqi prisoners and it had sickened her. She refused to be a part of the barbaric practice of torturing Iraqi prisoners and committed suicide. For years the Bush/Cheney "regime" and the U.S. military covered up the cause of her death, but now the full story has come out. Allysa's untimely death is just another nail in the coffin that hopefully will bring former President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney before a judge and jury where they along with others from the Bush administration will be charged with WAR CRIMES.

A US soldier who worked as an interpreter in Iraq's prisons has shot herself dead after witnessing harsh interrogation methods by the US military.

Alyssa Peterson from Arizona shot herself with her service rifle at Tal-Afar air base in northern Iraq on September 15, 2003, the Independent reported on Sunday

Peterson had protested to her superiors about the torture tactics that were very different from the ones she had known in training and had asked to be reassigned before the incident.

The cause of her death was kept secret for two years, and the mystery of what Peterson witnessed, and the content of the notes she made, still goes on.

An Arab-speaker, Peterson was assigned to work as an interpreter at interrogation sessions in a unit known as "The Cage." After only two nights, she refused to take further part in the sessions and was reassigned, according to the Independent.

Her family was told she had died from a "non-hostile weapons discharge." The army revealed Peterson had killed herself after Arizona reporter Kevin Elston investigated the case.

The army refused to say what interrogation she objected to, and maintain that all documents relating to methods used at Tal-Afar have been destroyed.

I counted at least two times where O'Reilly, as usual, had his facts wrong.

Liz Cheney,daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, told Norah O'Donnell of MSNBC that U.S. Navy Seals go through the same kind of tourture training that was been done to the detainees at GITMO who were subjected to torture.

Cheney is totally wrong. Nobody in the U.S. Navy Seals goes through training that is equal to torture described in the recent Senate Intelligence Committee report.

In fact, nobody in the military goes through any kind of training that is the equivalent of the torture used on detainees.

I went through eight weeks of infantry training and eight weeks of combat engineer training in the U.S. Army and we never were subjected to ANYTHING that would come close to torture.
