Is it any wonder why the people of Iraq and Afghanistan want U.S. troops to leave their country? "The Surge" was a myth cooked up by the Bush White House and the Pentagon to make it appear like U.S. troops brought peace to Iraq. Ask yourself this. If "The Surge" was so successful how come we never read or saw video of how many Al Queda or insurgents U.S. troops killed or captured? The answer is there was nothing to report because U.S. troops were used like guards after the Sunni Awakening did all the dirty work of ridding the various Iraq provinces of the enemy.
