Please, please, please read the polls which indicate over 80% of the American public are opposed to any kind of military action against Syria. The use of poison gas was horrible, but this is a civil war and Syria does not pose a threat to our security or are they a country in our national interest. The whole world signed off on the 1925 treaty banning chemical weapons, but you and the United States are the only country in the world who feels they have to step in and do something about Syria using chemical weapons. The picture that ran today on the front page of the NY Times showing rebels assassinating Syria troops should prove to you we would be backing the wrong side if we attacked Syria. Swallow your pride, Mr. President, and don't do anything and in a few weeks the right wingers will dream up something else to attack you about. An attack on Syria would open up a whole new can of worms.

LISTEN UP!!! The KOREAN WAR was started when President Harry Truman ordered a small number of soldiers into KOREA in what was called a "Police Action." Over three years later, more than 33,000 U.S. military were killed and 107,000 wounded. My U.S. Army Combat Engineer Company of 200 men alone lost 120 men KIA or wounded. The lesson that should be learned as we teeter on the brink of a "limited" attack on SYRIA is history has a way of repeating itself. Things never go as planned hence the term SNAFU (Situation Normal All F**ked Up) was coined. Remember: There is no such thing in war as "surgical strikes." There is always collateral damage even with the most precise planning. The cable news shows are doing America a great disservice with a steady parade of pundits who never served a day of their life in the military and haven't got a clue what takes place in a war zone. JODI ARIAS: PROOF OF PERJURY???

A very detailed study of Dr. Kevin Horn’s testimony in the Jodi Arias trial concerning the autopsy and the autopsy report of Travis Victor Alexander concludes, with a great degree of certainly, Dr. Kevin Horn committed perjury on the two occasions he testified under oath in the Jodi Arias trail. The report reveals probable false statements on several issues and points.

Dr. Kevin Horn’s apparent perjuries are as follows:

Dr. Horn claimed the statement in his autopsy report, “The dura mater and falx cerebri are intact,” was a typo. His autopsy report does not support this statement.

Dr. Horn misrepresented his autopsy report, a legal document he neither discredited nor disproved. This legal document is a sworn statement of truth. To testify otherwise is a conflict of truths, and two opposing truths cannot coexist.

Dr. Horn asserted the .25 caliber bullet “must have” passed through the right anterior lobe of Travis Alexander’s brain. His autopsy report does not support this statement, and Dr. Horn stepped outside his role as scientist by stating opinion as fact.

18 KILLED IN AFGHANISTAN INCLUDING ONE NATO SERVICE MEMBER

The Taliban launched an attack on Sunday in Afghanistan that killed 18 people.  A NATO service member was also killed in Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, over 100 people were killed in Baghdad, Iraq as violence continues to spread all across the country.

The last thing the United States should do now is enter into another Middle East war by attacking Syria.

NOT ONE Republican who is shouting at PRESIDENT OBAMA that we should go to war with SYRIA has ever served in any branch of the UNITED STATES MILITARY. As a former GI who was drafted into the UNITED STATES ARMY in 1951, I can say without a shred of doubt there is no way we could go to war with SYRIA without reinstating the military draft. Our troops are stretched to the breaking point having fought wars with IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN and only a draft will keep the same troops from going on another tour to fight in SYRIA.
