A VIDEO HISTORY OF THE SAD, SAD STORY OF WHAT AMERICA DID TO IRAQ
This video was made by the people of Iraq and there are many misspellings, but the message is still very clear. Iraq was a war that didn't have to be fought. The United States invaded Iraq on bogus information and lies and now six years later there perhaps as many as 100,000 Iraqis who have been killed and close to 4,500 young American soldiers and Marines have died in this needless war.
The "surge" was supposed to have put a stop to the killing in Iraq, but lately there have been more and more suicide bombings and as each day goes by Iraq again sinks further and further into a cauldron of chaos.
President Obama has now issued orders to sent more troops to Iraq to act as "trainers" in an attempt to train the Iraqi security forces and help in the reconstruction of Iraq---the same Iraq which we destroyed with our guns, tanks and airplanes.
What did the Iraqi people do to deserve this type of punishment and mutilation?
Isn't it time for the United States to just get out of Iraq for good and let Iraq run Iraq?

SUICIDE BOMBER KILLS 6 IN ANBAR PROVINCE WHERE SURGE WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE WORKED
The much touted "surge" was supposed to have taken care of all the violence and suicide bombings in the once infamous Anbar Province in Iraq, but a suicide bomber blew up a truck in Ramadi killing six Iraqis and wounding at least 20 others.
When you think of the "surge" think of this. Did you read or hear about any U.S. troops capturing or killing insurgents or Al Queda? No, of course you didn't because U.S. troops were used more for guard duty than combat during "the surge."
The success of "the surge" is a total myth as witnessed by what has been happening in Iraq the past couple of weeks where close to 300 Iraqis have been killed by suicide bombers.

Suicide Bomber Kills 6 in Iraqi City

BAGHDAD — At least six people were killed and 25 injured when a suicide truck bomber detonated his payload Wednesday near a police checkpoint in the city of Ramadi west of Baghdad, according to local officials.
The attack happened during morning rush hour in the eastern part of Ramadi, the seat of Anbar Province, according to a police official speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the attack with the media. He said four of the dead were civilians and two were traffic police officers. Anbar’s governor Qassim Abed, who was reached by telephone, confirmed the attack but gave a death toll of five. He said the bomber set off the explosives just before reaching the checkpoint.

KABUL, Afghanistan — Two U.S. Marines were killed in a roadside explosion in the southern province of Helmand, a U.S. forces spokeswoman said Sunday.
A third U.S. service member was killed in an insurgent attack in eastern Afghanistan on Sunday, the U.S. military said, and a fourth U.S. service member wounded in Afghanistan died Friday back home.
Sunday's attack in the town of Bargh-e-Matal in Nuristan province also wounded some other troops, said Lt. Cmdr. Christine Sidenstricker. She did not have an exact number of wounded. Sidenstricker did not provide more details, saying only that the attack was not a roadside bomb or suicide bomber.
The explosion that killed the two Marines occurred Saturday and was caused by a homemade bomb, Sidenstricker said. Taliban insurgents are increasingly using roadside bombs and remotely controlled mines set under dirt roads, and they are proving the biggest killer of foreign troops in Afghanistan this year.

BAGHDAD — At least 6 people were killed and 67 others wounded Saturday in bombings in Baghdad and the northern city of Mosul, according to witnesses and Iraqi security officials.AC = -->
The attack in Mosul killed at least 4 and wounded 35 and involved a car bomb on a street in the neighborhood of Kokjali on the city’s eastern side, said a police official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the attack with the news media.
The area is mainly inhabited by Shabak, a Kurdish-speaking minority group who are mostly Shiite.
The bombing came two days after a double suicide bombing killed 35 and wounded dozens in Tal Afar, a city 40 miles west of Mosul inhabited by another ethnic group, the Turkmens.
Nineveh Province, which includes Mosul and Tal Afar, remains one of Iraq’s most volatile areas. Like neighboring Kirkuk Province, it is embroiled in a bitter territorial dispute involving Kurds, Arabs, Turkmens and other ethnic and sectarian groups.
Later on Saturday, a bomb exploded inside a pool hall in central Baghdad, according to an Interior Ministry official and witnesses. No one was killed. Shortly afterward, a second explosion occurred at the entrance of the pool hall, killing a police officer.
A total of 20 people were wounded in the two bomb attacks.
Elsewhere in Baghdad, an employee in the office of Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki was killed when a bomb placed in his car exploded, according to the same Interior Ministry official, who requested anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the news media.
The attack happened in the neighborhood of Saidiya in southwestern Baghdad, and the victim was identified as Zaid Abdul-Karim. His wife and 11 others were wounded, the official said.
Also on Saturday, the United States military announced that it had sentenced a soldier to three years in a military prison for the accidental shooting death of another soldier in Iraq. Sgt. Miguel A. Vegaquinones pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter after the Jan. 11 shooting, the military said in a statement.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- A drive-by shooting Friday in Baghdad marked the third day of attacks across the country that have killed 75 people, officials said.

Gunmen in a speeding car opened fire on a western Baghdad checkpoint run by the Sons of Iraq, killing two of their members, an Iraqi Interior Ministry official said.
The Sons of Iraq, also known as Awakening Councils, are made up of mainly former Sunni insurgents who turned on groups such al Qaeda in Iraq.
The Sunni militias created by the U.S. military are credited as a major factor in the drop in violence in Iraq.
In addition to the 75 people killed, 202 people have been wounded in the series of attacks that began Wednesday.
The most fatal one occurred Thursday when a double suicide bombing killed at least 35 people and wounded 65 others in the northern Iraqi city of Tal Afar in Nineveh province. Political tensions between Arabs and Kurds have recently increased in the region.
Another double bombing in northern Baghdad killed nine civilians and wounded 35, Interior Ministry officials said.
