BIG EFFEN DEAL As a former GI and a Korean War veteran, I know most people will be shocked with this video, but if they knew what takes place in a war they wouldn't be so righteous. Many of these Marines have probably seen what happens to their buddies when the Taliban kill them and mutilate their bodies.

The mainstream media in the United States is devoting almost all of their space and time to the GOP primary, but our troops are still in the thick of fighting the war in Afganistan but you would never know it by relying on the mainstream press for information. From the Killing of Osama Bin Laden to the repeal of "Don't ask don't tell" and the drawdown of troops in Iraq, the last year has been a very busy one for the US Military and the Pentagon.
Ten years ago the US army removed the Taliban from power in Afghanistan, and by 2014 foreign troops are expected to be gone from the country.
Breaking with its violent past is expected to be Afghanistan's biggest challenge this year, but by no means its only one.
The government will have to plan for possible talks with the Taliban, who have re-emerged as a powerful force, as well as take on more responsibility for security.
It also needs to put necessary economic and political reforms in place before the country is able to fully stand on its own.
